Danielle Ponder Announces New Album ‘Everything Has Changed’
American singer-songwriter Danielle Ponder has announced her new album 'Everything Has Changed', due for release on 9th October via Dead Oceans. The record marks a significant chapter for Ponder, who only turned to music full-time in her late thirties after a earlier career as an attorney focused on criminal justice reform, a path shaped by her brother being sentenced to 20 years to life when she was 16.
The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Mike Elizondo alongside Barney Lister. Its lead single, 'Sun And Moon', has been released alongside the announcement, built around an entrancing groove and lyrics that use the sun and moon as a symbol for two lovers perpetually chasing but never quite reaching one another, turning heartbreak into a message of redemption.
