Liverpool-based songwriter Grace Elizabeth Harvey has announced a new EP, 'Songs Of Devotion', due for release on 16th October 2026. The record features spartan alt-folk arrangements paired with literary, wordplay-rich songwriting, and its announcement is accompanied by the release of a first single.

The EP was recorded during sessions at producer Gus White's residential studio, The Barn, where Harvey was joined by double bassist Sam Crooks and drummer Lloyd Haines. The lead track, 'The Dream of A Common Language', takes its title from a poetry collection by Adrienne Rich that Harvey came across by chance in a charity shop; she describes the song as exploring the failure of language to fully communicate love, desire and understanding, drawing on a recurring dream in which she is screaming without sound.
