Arankai Announces New Album ‘The Shape Of Blue’
Metalcore act Arankai has announced their new album, "The Shape Of Blue", set for release on 30 October via Hopeless Records. It follows "A Portrait Of Red", which came out the previous year, and continues the band's exploration of themes such as rebellion, pride and sacrifice, though this time drawn from stories beyond the artist's own experiences.
The 11-track album includes songs such as "Helter Skelter" (featuring buffalo farm), "Disobey" and the title track "The Shape Of Blue". Alongside the announcement, Arankai shared a new single, "I Hope It Hurts", described as a blend of hardcore, metalcore and post-hardcore styles, with lyrics addressing the theme of distancing oneself from people who have caused harm.
