‘Emily In Paris’ Tweaks Production Schedule Following Minnie Driver’s Car Accident In France
Actress Minnie Driver has been involved in a serious car accident in rural France while filming the sixth and final season of Netflix's "Emily In Paris," in which she plays recurring character Princess Jane. Driver revealed the crash in an Instagram "Paris Update" video, saying she was back home in London recovering with a sprained neck. She was not working when the collision occurred, and it happened during off-set time.
Driver said the accident was a T-bone crash on a country road, and she credited the Kia EV2 she and a friend were travelling in with helping her walk away, describing herself as "grateful to be alive." Production has largely continued unaffected, with only one of her scenes rescheduled due to a pre-planned break, and she is expected to resume filming once she recovers. The show previously adjusted for co-star Ashley Park's 2024 recovery from septic shock in similar fashion.
