Green Day Launches 24/7 YouTube Channel With Videos, Live Performances, and Unseen Archival Footage
Green Day have launched Green Day TV, a 24/7 YouTube channel streaming the band's music videos, live performances and archival footage, including material the group says has never been shown before. Announced on 6 August 2026 with a promo styled after Wayne's World, the channel forms part of a wider push by the band to keep fans engaged between releases through constant, evolving content rather than one-off uploads.
The station promises more than 100 hours of exclusive footage, ranging from unearthed VHS tapes to deep cuts, alongside new original programming such as Transmission Unknown, a show spotlighting emerging bands, interviews and comedy sketches hosted by drummer Tre Cool. It will also run trivia, giveaways and surprise merchandise drops to encourage continuous viewing; at launch it was showing rare 1994 footage of the band at Washington DC's 9:30 Club. The channel's debut coincides with the band's upcoming film, Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy, due in cinemas on 14 August.
