Guns N' Roses brought out country star Chris Stapleton during their concert at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, with Stapleton sharing vocals with Axl Rose on the band's cover of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". The guest appearance builds on a decade-long connection between the two acts, dating back to when Stapleton opened for Guns N' Roses at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

Guns N' Roses have long performed the 1973 Dylan track live and released their own studio version of it in 1991. Stapleton's ties to the band have deepened over the years, including a 2024 collaboration in which he sang on Slash's cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" for the guitarist's solo album. The Toronto appearance came just ahead of Stapleton's own headline show at the same venue, part of his ongoing All-American Roadshow tour, which began in Nashville in May and is scheduled to run through October.
