There’s A Man Living Inside A Billboard On Sunset Blvd.
Netflix has installed a live performer inside a furnished billboard on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood to promote its new film The Last House, which begins streaming on 8 August 2026. The stunt, spotted at the junction of Sunset and Selma Avenue, is designed to mirror the film's premise of a family trapped inside their own home, and forms part of a wider marketing push around the release.
The billboard, positioned around 30 feet above the street, has been fitted with a bay window and a furnished living room in which the performer will live and interact with passers-by using a whiteboard through to Saturday. Footage shared by Netflix shows the man in a bathrobe eating cereal and using binoculars to look out over the Sunset Strip. The Last House stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura and is directed by Louis Leterrier; the installation also comes shortly after Sunset Boulevard reopened following repairs to a nearby water main break.
