Shock development after 23-year-old dies in dog attack at bizarre Sydney secret society mansion called ‘Saturn’s Rings’

Daily Mail ·

Police in Sydney are investigating whether a 23-year-old man who died in a suspected dog attack was an intruder at Saturn's Rings, an unusual 40-hectare mansion in Eschol Park that once served as the headquarters of a spiritual movement. Officers found the man dead with significant injuries in a paddock near the property on Wednesday, and he is not believed to have lived or worked there, making the circumstances of his death a key focus of the inquiry.

Up to eight unregistered, unmicrochipped dogs, including a German Shepherd, were reportedly kept on the property, and a witness said another person was bitten days earlier while council inspectors prepared to capture the animals. Council officers later used tranquilliser darts to remove the dogs, which were driven away in cages. The mansion was built by Polish immigrant Stefan Dzwonnik as both a family home and base for his "Universal Power World Society", its distinctive circular design inspired by the rings of Saturn, though the project was never finished before his death in 2018; it remains with the Dzwonnik family.
