The mystery man who put up $100k to free the accused ‘honey trap’ blonde charged over a deadly balcony plunge… as her murder co-accused boyfriend remains behind bars

A woman charged with murder over the death of a man who fell from a Sydney balcony has been granted bail after a friend put up $100,000 surety, while her co-accused boyfriend remains in custody. Jade McCaskie, 34, is accused of luring Nathan Hill to a Castle Hill apartment with nude photographs for an early-morning drug deal, then hiding in a bin room and texting instructions to three men — including her boyfriend — as Hill fell 15 metres to his death while allegedly trying to escape an attack.

Hill died in the garden below the fourth-floor flat on 17 May, telling paramedics he had jumped to escape a beating. Prosecutors allege McCaskie knew of a plan to rob Hill of drugs and his car, and cite texts in which she allegedly told the men to "get his phone" and take action against him. Her lawyer argued the case against her was weak, saying she had merely expected Hill to drive her home and that the other men fled without telling her what had happened; the NSW Supreme Court granted her bail on condition she attend a drug rehabilitation programme and undergo substance testing.
