Windup Inkay is a hidden item in Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin, needed to create habitats and encounter all Pokémon in the area. The guide explains its location because it is concealed in a difficult-to-see underwater section behind a breakable wall.

From the Pokémon Centre, players should swim up the main staircase and head north towards a ruined ornate building and broken bridge near the eastern side of Bubbly Basin. Diving into the nearby deep, dark area, they must pass purple coral through a narrow wall gap, use Rock Smash on a rock wall, and open the red Poké Ball beyond it to collect Windup Inkay.
