England striker Ivan Toney has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following an alleged incident at a Soho nightclub in December. Metropolitan Police said the charge, made on 31 July, concerns an incident on 6 December at a Wardour Street venue in central London, reportedly the former 100 Wardour Street. Toney is due before Westminster magistrates’ court on 24 September; reports said he was arrested after an alleged head-butt involving a fan seeking a photograph.
