PUBG MOBILE has launched Brainrot Royale, a new World of Wonder experience based on the viral “brainrot” meme characters from Steal a Brainrot. The sponsored announcement presents it as an expansion of PUBG MOBILE beyond its standard battle royale format, using the game’s creator platform to offer a collection-and-raiding mode built around familiar online characters.

Players search the map for Brainrot characters, escort them back to base, and use successful collections to improve weapons and unlock rarer characters. Rival players can raid bases and steal collections, while defeated characters yield coins for further upgrades; the mode also includes reward-filled eggs and boss encounters. World of Wonder, launched in March 2023, has reportedly produced more than 5.4 million user-made maps and reached over 8.5 million peak daily players.
