The Avalanches have announced their new album, ‘No Bad Memories’, due for release on 16 October. The Australian electronic duo describe it as an exploration of memory, desire, nostalgia and the influence of consumer culture, continuing their sample-driven approach to pop music.

The announcement follows the group clearing their social-media accounts, prompting speculation among fans. Its first single, ‘Can’t Get Over Losing You’, features Baton Rouge artist Portraits Of Tracy; she said the collaboration began in 2024 and was completed in 2025, while Robbie Chater praised her songwriting, voice and production.
