Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will receive another in-depth presentation at Gamescom Opening Night Live on 25 August. Director Naoki Hamaguchi will appear in person, making the event a significant opportunity for further details after the game’s announcement at Summer Game Fest in June.

The publisher has not said what will be shown, though a release date or the first substantial look at Cloud and the group returning to Midgar are possible. The showcase begins at 2 p.m. ET and will also feature titles including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Songs of the Past expansion, Metro 2039 and Silent Hill: Townfall.
