Lindsey Buckingham has said his relationship with Stevie Nicks has improved substantially, with the former Fleetwood Mac bandmates now speaking regularly after years of tension. He said work on an upcoming authorised Fleetwood Mac documentary has become a “healing process”, suggesting their earlier disputes have been resolved and potentially paving the way for further joint projects.

Buckingham was removed from Fleetwood Mac ahead of its 2018 tour amid disagreement over scheduling and tensions with Nicks; he later sued the band, before reaching a settlement that December. Apple announced the Frank Marshall-directed documentary nearly two years ago, and it is expected in 2027, while Buckingham has hinted that more developments involving the band could emerge next year.
