Irish rock band Florence Road have released their new single, “7563”, after performing it live for around two years. The band said the song is for people who feel estranged from themselves, and its official release allows listeners to engage with its previously unheard lyrics.

The track opens with anthemic vocal cries and a driving guitar line, before moving into surreal, dreamlike imagery. Frontwoman Lily Aron delivers lyrics including references to an apple tree, a seahorse and falling for hours, giving the song an immediately potent but disorienting quality.
