Susanne Sundfør has announced a new album, Revelations Of Divine Love, and released its lead single, “I It Am”. The record was made with British musician Kit Downes using only pipe organ and voice in a Norwegian church, giving the project a deliberately sparse, devotional character.

Sundfør and Downes co-wrote the album, with lyrics drawn from the work of 14th-century mystic Julian of Norwich. It follows Sundfør’s 2023 album Blómi and comes after she had two children and moved to rural Norway; Revelations Of Divine Love contains 13 tracks and will be released on 2 October through Bella Union.
