Heart have completed recording their first album in more than a decade, with guitarist Nancy Wilson saying it is nearly ready for delivery to the band’s label by the end of August. The release would mark a significant return for the veteran rock group after a period of internal tensions and limited recorded output, while also forming part of wider plans for touring and screen projects.

Wilson said the new songs were recorded in Nashville with musicians from Heart’s recent touring line-up, giving the sessions a largely live feel. Heart’s last album was 2016’s *Beautiful Broken*; Ann and Nancy Wilson subsequently fell out over family matters before reconciling. The band is also planning an extensive world tour for 2027 and 2028, although only two Alberta, Canada dates—23 and 24 October—are currently scheduled.
