Chicago punk band Daddy’s Boy have released their new album, Four Hombres, via Drunken Sailor. The record continues the group’s abrasive, emotionally charged approach, while addressing hope amid worsening global conditions.

The band recorded the LP at Chicago’s Electrical Audio studios with Greg Norman, returning to the studio where they made 2022’s Great News! with the late Steve Albini. Frontman and writer JJ Skolnik described its central theme as maintaining hope despite the world becoming “demonstrably worse”; its title references ZZ Top.
