Judy Collins has begun a 2026–27 farewell tour after 67 years of performing, while insisting she still has considerable energy and remains capable of a demanding concert schedule. The 87-year-old singer describes the decision as simply “time” to slow down, but the tour gives audiences a final opportunity to see a major figure of the folk movement perform live.

The “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes Farewell Tour”, named after Stephen Stills’s song for Collins, began on 4 July and has no announced end date. Collins has already played more than 35 shows this year and says she usually performs about 100 annually; her changing sets may include “Both Sides, Now”, “Send in the Clowns”, “Suzanne”, “Amazing Grace” and songs from her 2022 album “Spellbound”. Her Los Angeles date at the Ford features Bruce Cockburn, with other stops supported by artists including Richard Thompson, Amanda Shires, Rosanne Cash and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
