Rockets beat MI London to reach knockout stage
Trent Rockets secured a place in The Hundred men’s knockout stages by beating MI London by six wickets at The Oval. Their sixth victory in seven matches guarantees a top-three finish and strengthens their position at the top of the table.
Chasing 148, the Rockets recovered from 46-3 through an unbeaten partnership between Mitchell Santner and Tim David. Santner struck 52 not out from 23 balls, his first Hundred half-century, while David made 32 not out as they won with 10 balls remaining; MI London had earlier reached 147-7, led by Sam Curran’s 72 from 46 deliveries.
