Get a “new look” at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the concluding instalment of Square Enix’s Remake trilogy, will receive a “new look” during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Its appearance matters because it may offer a more detailed update on the long-awaited finale, with director Naoki Hamaguchi presenting the segment rather than simply releasing a trailer.
The showcase takes place on Wednesday 25 August at 7pm BST. Hamaguchi says the main game will definitively conclude the trilogy’s story, though any later DLC could potentially be character-focused spin-offs; Revelation is due in spring 2027 for Switch 2, PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
