Fuerza Regida concluded its first US stadium tour at New York’s Citi Field on 7 August, despite heavy thunderstorms, with guest appearances from 50 Cent, G-Unit, Bobby Shmurda, Fenix Flexin and J Balvin. The finale mattered because it demonstrated the regional Mexican group’s ability to fill a venue in a city it had regarded as particularly difficult to win over, while bringing corridos bélicos together with New York hip-hop.

50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks performed songs including “What Up Gangsta”, “P.I.M.P.” and “I Get Money”, while J Balvin joined Fuerza Regida for “La Canción”. The nine-date This Is Our Dream tour also visited Texas, Los Angeles and other major US markets; at Citi Field, the five-member band performed hits including “TQM”, “Sabor Fresa”, “Bebe Dame”, “Harley Quinn” and “Marlboro Rojo”, supported by its traditional live instrumentation.
