Something We Made has confirmed a September 29, 2026 release for Toem 2 across four platforms. The sequel continues the photography-based puzzle gameplay where players help characters solve mysteries by capturing specific images, this time with a visually refined presentation that upgrades to detailed three-dimensional environments whilst preserving the original's distinctive black-and-white aesthetic.

Building on the critical success of the 2022 original—which won a BAFTA award for Best Debut and earned widespread praise for its contemplative, bus-stop exploration format—the sequel promises new quirky characters and expanded environmental storytelling. The core gameplay loop of travelling between locations, photographing details, and using those images to assist people and earn progression has been expanded with more sophisticated visual design whilst maintaining the original's meditative tone.
