Paul and Caroline Lacitinola, publishers of Vintage Camper Trailers magazine, have released a cookbook celebrating old-fashioned campfire cooking and the nostalgic recipes many Americans grew up eating. The California-based couple, who have spent two decades immersed in the vintage trailer restoration community, say the book reflects a wider renewed interest in classic camping food and the memories associated with it.

The cookbook contains more than 120 recipes, blending family dishes, camper favourites and restaurant classics, and draws inspiration from America's national parks and diverse regional cuisines. Dishes featured range from Wild Blueberry Sourdough Waffles and pink shrimp salad to roasted chicken and grilled bison skewers, offering a broad taste of American outdoor cooking traditions.
