Trackhouse Racing's Raul Fernandez led from start to finish to win the British MotoGP at Silverstone, holding off championship leader Jorge Martin, who started from pole but suffered technical issues at Turn One. The result was a bounce-back for Fernandez, who had crashed out of Saturday's sprint race, and it means Martin, despite recovering to finish second, further extended his advantage at the top of the standings.

Fernandez won by 2.5 seconds for his second MotoGP victory and first since last year's Australian Grand Prix, while Martin, who won Saturday's sprint, now leads the championship by 31 points. Marco Bezzecchi took third to move up to second overall, as Ai Ogura slipped to third after failing to finish for the first time this season; defending champion Marc Marquez was seventh. Six riders crashed out, including Alex Rins and Joan Mir in a first-lap collision, and it was confirmed this week that Silverstone will host the British GP until at least 2028, with the season resuming at Aragon on 30 August.
