Bride cautions others before wedding day about risky beauty treatments: ‘Pain wasn’t worth it’

Fox News · 4 hours ago

A bride-to-be developed a severe allergic reaction to classic eyelash extensions she had applied ahead of her wedding, despite first undergoing a patch test that showed no signs of trouble. Polly Bibby, 26, an illustrator, wanted to depart from her usual minimal make-up look and appear "like a princess" on her big day, but the treatment left her with a reaction serious enough that she now warns other brides-to-be against taking the same risk.

Bibby had the extensions fitted in early July, paying around $88 (roughly £70) for the treatment, and initially felt pleased with the results before symptoms developed. She has since spoken out via Kennedy News & Media to caution others considering similar beauty treatments before major events, saying the pain was not worth it.
