Pop star Benson Boone postponed a stop on his Wanted Man Tour in Sacramento after struggling to recover his voice in time for the concert. The Grammy nominee announced the last-minute postponement on Saturday, expressing disappointment for fans who had travelled to see him, and pledged that the show would be rescheduled as soon as possible.

Boone had been due to perform at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center but said in an Instagram Story statement that he had been "fighting like hell all afternoon" to make his voice presentable, without success. The venue confirmed the show was "postponed due to health reasons." This follows a similar cancellation of a Birmingham show, and Boone's tour is next scheduled to continue with a two-night run at LA's Crypto.com Arena starting Monday, 10 August.
