IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator Manual Aiming and Shell Ballistics Guide
A new guide for the game IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator explains how players can manually calculate powder charges and turret elevation to hit distant targets without relying on the game's automated aiming aids. Some missions require players to work out these figures themselves, so the guide breaks down the underlying maths so shots can be aimed accurately even without assistance.
The number of charges needed rises with distance, from one charge for targets up to 5km away to six charges for targets up to 30km away. Each charge level corresponds to a set distance-per-degree value, obtained by dividing the range by 60 degrees; players then divide the target's distance by this value to get the correct elevation angle, for example a target 14,750m away using three charges (250 metres per degree) requires the turret to be set to 59 degrees.
