Lucy Dacus brought out her Boygenius bandmate and partner Julien Baker to perform their duet 'Bullseye' at Outside Lands festival in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park over the weekend. Dacus introduced Baker as "my best friend" before the pair performed the track, from Dacus's latest solo album 'Forever Is A Feeling', with Dacus accompanying on acoustic guitar. The moment continues a run of high-profile guest appearances Dacus has made throughout the year, reflecting the close ties between members of the acclaimed supergroup Boygenius.

'Bullseye' originally featured Hozier, who joined Dacus to perform it live in New York earlier this year, having previously duetted with her on 'I, Carrion (Icarian)' in 2024. Dacus also performed the Boygenius track 'True Blue' during her Outside Lands set. Other recent collaborations include Brandon Flowers, Hayley Williams and Madi Diaz at Newport Folk Festival, and Chappell Roan at a Sudan and Palestine aid benefit show. Dacus and Baker confirmed their romantic relationship last year, with Dacus saying her new album was partly inspired by it, though she has expressed discomfort with fans treating their lives "like a Marvel Universe".
