Over the Hill, an indie offroad driving title, has reached a major milestone with more than a million Steam wishlists accumulated ahead of its launch. The developer Funselektor has announced an October 14th release date for the game on PC, with console versions following in 2027.

The game is positioned as a relaxed, exploratory offroad experience rather than a competitive racing title. Players control vintage 4×4 vehicles through low-polygon environments, equipped with tools like a grappling hook and the ability to engage in cooperative multiplayer driving, emphasising slow-paced exploration and environmental discovery over speed-focused gameplay.
