Miranda Lambert Is Taking Over an Iconic Fort Worth Honky-Tonk for ‘Crisco’ Album Release Show
Miranda Lambert has announced a one-night-only album release show at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth to mark the launch of her forthcoming record Crisco. The performance, at one of country music's most storied honky-tonk venues, underscores the album's central theme: exploring the historic overlap between country dance halls and disco clubs. It gives fans a first chance to experience the new material live in a setting Lambert says directly inspired the record.
The show takes place on Tuesday 6 October, shortly after Crisco is released, with tickets going on sale from Friday 14 August at 10am CT. The 12-track album, out 2 October, has already yielded several previewed songs, including the title track, "Till The Going's Gone", "Sunset Marquis" and a duet with Chris Stapleton called "A Song To Sing". Lambert has described the record as blending heartbreak, honky-tonk and dance influences, saying it reflects "every corner of country music" she loves.
