The Reytons, a rock band from Rotherham, are currently battling London girl group FLO for this week's UK Number One album spot, with their record 'A Love Letter To A Broken Town' leading the chart. A win would give the self-releasing band their second chart-topper, following their 2023 success with 'What's Rock And Roll?', while a victory for FLO would mark the trio's first Number One album.

FLO currently sit at Number Two with 'Therapy At The Club', having previously peaked at Number Three with their 2024 debut 'Access All Areas'. The rest of the current Top Ten features Michael Jackson's 'The Essential', Overmono's 'Pure Devotion', and releases from Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Dean, Fleetwood Mac and Sienna Spiro. Reflecting on their earlier chart success, Reytons frontman Jonny Yerrell told NME the achievement was especially meaningful as an independent act with no label backing.
