The New York Mets are hosting a "KPop Demon Hunters Night" (also called Korean Heritage Night) on Saturday 15 August, in partnership with Netflix, following a similar event held by the New York Yankees. The promotion ties the Mets' clash with the Washington Nationals at Citi Field to the popularity of the animated film "KPop Demon Hunters", and the first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a free limited-edition jersey featuring the fictional K-pop trio HUNTR/X.

The game takes place at Citi Field in Queens, New York, with first pitch at 4:10pm ET. Ahead of the match, Korean-American singer Kevin Woo, who voiced a character in the film, will perform his new single "Ain't No Party". Tickets were originally sold via Ticketmaster, but with the game nearing a sell-out, fans are being directed to resale platforms such as StubHub, Vivid Seats and SeatGeek, where prices reportedly start between roughly $19 and $21.
