The Division 2 has released the Week 9 HVT Manhunt tasks for its Y8S2 "Into the Dark" season, bringing players one step closer to unlocking the season's Climax Mission. This latest stage, dubbed Scout 9, requires completing three specific objectives in the Downtown East area before players can progress, with the Climax Mission itself already available once the tasks are done.

The three requirements are capturing three Control Points in Downtown East by clearing enemy waves and holding the position, eliminating 25 Hyena faction members in the same district, and completing the "Muzzle" bounty by clearing enemies and destroying the boss's weapon before finishing him off. Players can lower the game's global difficulty to make the Hyena and bounty tasks quicker to complete. Once finished, a further guide for the Climax Mission is expected to follow soon.
