Leaked product box images suggest Nintendo is preparing a limited-edition Legend of Zelda-themed Switch 2 console and Pro Controller to mark the series' 40th anniversary. The images, shared online and reported via Nintendo Everything, appear to confirm earlier rumours and closely match the packaging style Nintendo typically uses, lending them credibility even without official confirmation.

The console features black and dark green Joy-Con 2 controllers decorated with the Triforce symbol, paired with a black and gold dock also bearing the emblem. The matching Pro Controller carries the same black, green and gold colour scheme, with what looks like the Royal Crest at its centre. Both items display 40th-anniversary branding, and their reveal comes amid a broader run of Zelda anniversary activity, including a previously announced Ocarina of Time remake due later this year.
