Footage from the Ohio Department of Transportation captured a powerful storm sweeping through Columbus, flipping a vehicle as severe weather battered central Ohio. No injuries were reported in the incident caught on camera, but the wider storm system brought strong winds, heavy rain and flooding that caused widespread damage and at least one fatality across the region.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has activated the state's National Guard in response and warned residents to brace for further severe storms and flooding in the coming days.
