Ozzy Osbourne's 1980 solo single "Crazy Train" has passed one billion streams on Spotify, earning it a place in the platform's Billions Club. The milestone underscores the enduring popularity of Osbourne's early solo work, recorded after his split from Black Sabbath, and highlights the lasting appeal of his creative partnership with guitarist Randy Rhoads, who died in 1982.

The Billions Club, launched by Spotify in 2020, now includes more than 1,300 songs that have each reached a billion streams, among them tracks by Metallica, Aerosmith, Survivor and Van Halen. "Crazy Train" originally featured on the album "Blizzard Of Ozz", which was certified quintuple platinum in the US in 2019, and has since been used in films such as "Megamind" and "Magic Mike" and TV shows including "The Simpsons". The album was reissued in a remastered deluxe edition in 2011, restoring the original bass and drum parts that had controversially been re-recorded for a 2002 reissue amid a royalties dispute.
