Bethesda Aware Of Feedback Asking For Additional Oblivion Remastered Patch

Nintendo Life · 3 hours ago

Bethesda has acknowledged player requests for a further patch for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, including concerns raised following its Switch 2 release. The company says it is examining whether optimisations made for the Nintendo version can be brought to other platforms, suggesting further support may be planned but without confirming a patch.

On Switch 2, the remaster is playable but has reported frame-rate drops below its 30fps target and an issue where Joy-Con 2 mouse mode does not activate automatically. Bethesda previously issued post-launch patches for Skyrim’s Switch 2 Edition, including a later update that addressed issues and added a 60Hz mode, though Oblivion Remastered is a newer and different release.

  • Bethesda acknowledges calls for another Oblivion Remastered patch.
  • Switch 2 optimisations may reach other platforms.
  • No patch or release date has been confirmed.
