Billboard U.K. will launch its first 40 Under 40 list this autumn, recognising young executives and other industry figures shaping Britain’s music business. The initiative extends Billboard’s existing franchise and will culminate in an honours event during the Beyond The Music conference in Salford, highlighting talent across labels, management, publishing, streaming, live music and rights organisations.

The list is due in early October, with nominations open until 19 August at 11:59pm BST for UK-based executives under 40 on 7 October 2026. Honourees will be celebrated on 7 October at Beyond The Music, which runs at MediaCity from 6 to 9 October and will include discussions on AI, regional arts investment and the live sector, as well as speakers including RCA U.K.’s Stacey Tang and BPI chief executive Dr Jo Twist.
