State of Play for Phantom Blade Zero Announced for Next Week, 11-Minute Trailer Revealed
Sony and developer S-GAME will hold a Phantom Blade Zero-focused State of Play presentation next week, offering nearly 20 minutes of gameplay ahead of the game’s October release. The event is intended to explain the action game’s combat systems and dark wuxia setting in greater depth than a newly released 11-minute trailer, while also supporting the start of PlayStation Store pre-orders.
The livestream is scheduled for 3am BST on 18th August in the UK, following a 7pm PDT broadcast on 17th August in North America. Phantom Blade Zero is due for PS5 on 29th October 2026, priced at £54.99 for the standard edition and £64.99 for a Digital Deluxe Edition with early cosmetic unlocks, a digital artbook and soundtrack; the trailer also confirms Donnie Yen contributed facial likeness and motion capture for Mó Yuan, the protagonist’s father.
