Denzel Curry and producer Kenneth Blume have announced a collaborative album, ‘ii’, due for release on 21 August via Loma Vista Recordings. The announcement is accompanied by the new single ‘Difference’, and marks a more substantial reunion between two longstanding creative partners.

The album arrives during a busy period for Curry, who has formed rap group The Scythe, performed with Fred again.. in New York, toured Europe supporting Deftones, and collaborated with Knocked Loose on ‘Hive Mind’. Blume said their work together is challenging but rewarding, describing the record as reflecting both their artistic growth and the effort involved in reconciling differing approaches.
