Jaguar has released the first interior images of its forthcoming all-electric Type 01, revealing a minimalist, beige cabin designed around four seats separated by a central spine. The images offer an early indication of Jaguar’s new EV design direction, ahead of a public prototype appearance and full reveal later this year.

The Type 01 has a low driving position, a slim dashboard and a central display styled like a smartphone. It replaces a conventional rear-view mirror with a ClearSight Rear View Display positioned low on the windscreen, while Jaguar also refers to concealed storage and technology. The car follows the divisive Type 00 concept shown in 2024 and will be Jaguar’s first production model on its Electric Architecture, with a camouflaged prototype due at Monterey Car Week before an official unveiling on 6 October.
