Saturday Night Live U.K. will return for a second series on 12 September, with six live weekly episodes planned before further instalments in early 2027. The renewal continues Sky’s British adaptation of the long-running NBC sketch programme, which combines topical comedy with celebrity hosts and musical performances.

All 11 cast members from the first series will return, while Laura Claxton becomes co-head writer and Heather MacVean joins as costume designer. The first series began in March and featured hosts including Tina Fey, Riz Ahmed and Ncuti Gatwa, with music guests such as Wet Leg, Wolf Alice and Jorja Smith; applications for the live audience ballot open at 10am BST on 14 August.
