Xbox has announced limited-edition Gears of War: E-Day controllers and related accessories ahead of the game’s October 2026 launch. The products use imagery from the series’ fictional Emergence Day, the catastrophic Locust attack that forms the game’s setting, and are intended to promote the next instalment in the franchise.

The official controller costs $89.99 and is available to pre-order, featuring moulded and laser-etched cracked-asphalt details, red fissures and the Crimson Omen symbol. From 30 September, customers will also be able to create E-Day-themed controllers through Xbox Design Lab, using artwork by illustrator Luke Preece; 8BitDO will release a matching charging dock. Gears of War: E-Day launches on 6 October for Xbox Series X and Windows PC.
