2 More Truly Fascinating Retro Games Are Coming to PS5 This Week
Two retro games are due to arrive on PS5 on 13 August: Tecmo’s Touki Denshou Angel Eyes and Technos’ V’Ball. Their release broadens access to older arcade and PlayStation titles, particularly Angel Eyes, whose home-console version is being made available outside Japan for the first time.
Angel Eyes began as a 1996 arcade fighting game and received an expanded Japanese PS1 version in 1997, adding individual story content for its all-female roster; it will cost $11.99. V’Ball, a 1998 volleyball arcade game also known by regional names including US Championship V’Ball and Super Spike V’Ball, will cost $9.99 and includes both American and Japanese versions, with the latter featuring a story about two beach volleyball players competing for $250,000.
