“We’re not really sure what Big Walk’s future looks like,” say the waddling co-op puzzler’s devs, though it probably doesn’t involve DLC

House House, the developers of cooperative puzzle game Big Walk, say they have no current plans for expansions or downloadable content, as the team needs a break after the lengthy effort of finishing the game. The comments matter because players had repeatedly asked about additional content, but the studio is instead encouraging them to create their own activities using the game’s open-ended systems.

Level designer Jake Strasser said the developers are uncertain about Big Walk’s future, while designer Stuart Gillespie-Cook stated there were “no content plans”. The developers suggested games such as hide-and-seek within its world, and explained that local co-op is unsuitable because the game relies on players communicating incomplete, differently held information; an unofficial VR mod is also available.

  • House House has no current DLC or expansion plans.
  • The team wants to rest after making Big Walk.
  • Players are encouraged to invent activities in the game world.
