Whitney Leavitt will return to Broadway this winter, joining the musical Just in Time as actress Sandra Dee. Her six-week engagement begins on 1 December and runs until 10 January 2027, following a successful Broadway debut in Chicago earlier this year that reportedly helped the show set a box-office record.

Just in Time, which opened in April 2025, is a biographical musical about singer Bobby Darin, featuring songs including ‘Mack the Knife’, ‘Beyond the Sea’ and ‘Splish Splash’. Leavitt’s casting replaces current Sandra Dee performer Carrie St. Louis for the specified period; the production currently stars Jeremy Jordan as Darin and has recouped its Broadway investment.
