Steam is offering the 2012 point-and-click comedy adventure Deponia free to keep until 20 August as part of Daedalic Days. The promotion gives players permanent access to a well-regarded, hand-drawn game that combines post-apocalyptic humour, dialogue and puzzle-solving.

Players control Rufus, a poor resident of a rubbish-strewn world who tries to escape into an elite society after meeting a woman who falls from above. Deponia has a “mostly positive” Steam rating and an estimated eight-hour playtime, though users advise saving frequently because of reports of an early game-breaking bug and suggest using a puzzle guide.
