The Verge · 3 hours ago

Hoto has launched the I-A06, its first soldering iron in the modular Snapbloq toolkit range. The cordless model is designed to combine rapid heating and portable use with higher plugged-in power, potentially making it useful for repair, electronics and craft work away from a mains socket.

The iron reportedly reaches just over 200°C in around three seconds, with an adjustable 100–450°C range and custom temperature presets. Its 2,000mAh battery supports up to 60W cordless output, rising to 140W when connected to power; the $99.99 kit includes several tips and a case with a pop-up stand, while the tool alone costs $79.99.
